Cumberland River Hospital (CRH) is located in Celina, Tennessee and has been using Ascend-IP since June 2000. Debbie Johnson, Director of Pharmacy, also used Hann's On Software's older pharmacy program prior to their conversion to Ascend-IP. Debbie Johnson's comments follow:  

"I think Ascend-IP is exceptional. It is easy to learn and can be adapted to many different needs. The implementation was easy; we did most of it over the phone! 

Using Ascend-IP has changed our pharmacy by allowing us to modernize many of our processes. For example, we now use computer generated MARs instead of handwritten ones. This has decreased our medication errors significantly.

We love the program's adaptability. We have the option of changing many things to suit our specific practice . For example, we originally wanted a "3 day" MAR rather than the default "daily" MAR that comes with the program. With just a few quick program option settings, you can configure the built-in MAR for three days.

The support staff has been quick to respond to any questions I might have. Any problems have been solved before the end of my work day. I would recommend Ascend-IP to anyone because of how easy it has been to use the program."
