HL7 is an industry-standard format for software communications between healthcare vendors. Hann's On Software has many years experience in providing HL7 interfaces. Hann's On Software also preferentially uses the TCP/IP protocol (socket/port-based, NOT file-based) to send/receive messages to/from other vendors. TCP/IP is a widely-used and highly reliable network protocol for connecting devices such as computers.

Pyxis- Hann's On Software's interfaces for Pyxis automated dispensing systems include their "System 2000/3000" versions. ADT, Billing, Orders/Profiling, Dispensing and Formulary Maintenance features are supported. Inventory maintenance, floor stock list management, and dispensing reminders are just a few Ascend-IP features that are fully integrated with our dispensing system interfaces such as Pyxis. 

medDispense- The medDispense automated dispensing cabinets can be interfaced with Ascend to support any of the following messages: ADT, Billing, Order/Profile Dispensing and Formulary Maintenance. Omnicell- Our Omnicell automated dispensing system interfaces include ADT, Billing, Order/Profile Dispensing and Formulary Maintenance.

SureMed- Hann's On Software provides several Sure-Med automated dispensing system interfaces. We can send ADT messages to Suremed (to keep their patient information updated), receive Billing messages (to process Suremed medication charges), send order messages (so they can maintain patient medication profiles) and send Formulary Maintenance messages (so they can keep their drug master synchronized with yours). 

SMS (Siemens Health Services: Soarian, Invision, Medseries 4,ink) - Our Siemens/SMS interfaces include ADT (to keep your patient information current) and Billing (to send your pharmacy charges to your hospital financial system). 

HBOC - Our ADT and Billing interfaces to HBOC save Ascend-IP users time and money.

Eclipsys - We provide ADT, Billing and Orders (CPOE) interfaces with Eclipsys/Sunrise information systems.

Quadramed (Affinity) - Interfaces to Quadramed include ADT and Billing capabilities.

Dairyland - HOS provides ADT and Billing interfaces for Dairyland customers.

Keane (Patcom) - ADT and Billing interfaces are available for Keane's Patcom systems

M2 Information Systems- Hann's On Software's M2 interfaces include ADT and Order/Profiling features.

Meditech- Hann's On Software's interface to Meditech includes ADT, Order/Profile Dispensing and Formulary Maintenance.

HMS (Hospital Management System)- We interface with HMS for ADT and Billing functions using HL7 and TCP/IP.

American HealthNet - We provide ADT, Billing and Orders (CPOE) interfaces with AHN's Clarus software, and ADT/Billing interfaces with two other American HealthNet legacy HIS products.

Perot (PBAR) - HOS offers ADT, Billing and Orders interfaces for Perot's PBAR users.

IDX (LastWord) - ADT and Billing interfaces are available for IDX customers

Intermed - ADT and Billing interfaces are available for Intermed customer

Sphere - Hann's On Software receives ADT data from Sphere and they receive billing data from Hann's On Software.

Cerner Laboratory System- This interface reads the laboratory results files created by Cerner and places the results into Ascend-IP's lab data table for easy access by pharmacists.

CPOE Interfaces- Hann's On Software's Ascend-eMAR program already includes computerized medication order entry and you don't need an interface to use it with other Ascend software products!  However, orders entered into other vendor's CPOE systems can also be transmitted to Hann's On Software by interface. These orders are added to our database and flagged for review by a pharmacist. We receive/send orders from/to several CPOE systems (including Exclipsys, AHN-Clarus and VisualMed) and we will add more CPOE interfaces as needed by our customers.
