When we began in 1987 we were focused on
in-patient pharmacy
applications. In 1994 the company expanded its focus to
home infusion/alternate
site software and services. In 1995 we developed and launched a sophisticated
interface engine to support full integration of our products with other major healthcare
information system vendors. We continue to add features to all of our “patient
centered” software products to support a variety of healthcare professionals and
environments.
HOS is uniquely positioned due to our expertise with
in-patient
services (
acute care hospitals,
critical access facilities,
rehabilitation
and surgical centers,
behavioral health centers,
correctional facilities, and
other in-patient healthcare environments),
alternate site companies (
home infusion,
infusion suites, and
specialty pharmacy practices), and exchanging data with all
major information systems (automated dispensing cabinets, financial systems, distributors,
and more). Our strategy is to continue
