I enjoyed the options for viewing patient profiles, including being able to sort and filter by a variety of modes. I could build defaults into our drug formulary, and create common order sets, both of which greatly streamlined order input. I liked the reports I could generate, many of which helped me with targeted clinical monitoring.  I could easily access patient data for Medication Reviews, Renal Function Screening, Profile Notes, Follow-up notes, and etc. I also found that I preferred this "stand-alone" program because when the rest of the hospital was "down", I could still get my work done!  

I also recommend Ascend-IP to others because of the excellent support. The HOS support staff was SUPER! Our support technician always answered my calls or email. If she didn't know the answers, she would find out and get back to me. All computer systems have their strong points and short-comings but overall, Ascend-IP got the job done."
